Short biography

Professor Jane Barlow holds the statutory chair for Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation in the Department of Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation, at the University Oxford, and is a Professorial Fellow of St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Prior to that she was Professor of Public Health at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, and Director of Warwick Infant and Family Wellbeing Unit. She was awarded an honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health in 2007. She is internationally recognised for her research on maternal and child welfare in the perinatal field, and holds a number of national and international positions including being President of the UK Association of Infant Mental Health (AIMH UK), and an executive member of the Board of the World Association of Infant Mental Health (WAIMH).
